USEAGE AND CALIBRATION
Press the button once before removing it from meat or other kinds of food to hold the current temperature reading.
Switch between °C and °F
Hold the button for 2 seconds to switch temperature unit between °C and °F
You should use a 5V USB adapter with a minimum of 500mA current. Most mobile phone adapters will work for charging this device.
The calibration range is -3.0°C to +3.0°C/-5.0°F to 5.0°F. Press the button and unfold the probe at the same time to enter calibration mode. The LCD screen will show “CA”. Short press to select calibration. Put the probe into a cup of ice water, short press again to set your calibration value to 0°C. Hold and press button to scroll to your calibration value quickly. The set value will be saved automatically after 10 seconds.
Auto-on/off: Turns on automatically when the probe is unfolded, and turns off automatically when folded.
Auto Restart: If there is no operation for 10 minutes, the thermometer will turn off automatically. If there is a sudden change in temperature, it will turn back on, or you can simply push the button once to resume measuring.
LCD Display: Displays the measured temperature and battery level.
Backlight: Automatic backlight turns on when the probe is unfolded. The backlight will turn off after 20s in
normal mode or 60s in HOLD mode.
